SVPS investigates the USS North Carolina Battleship

Notoriously known to be haunted the Battleship USS North Carolina was officially commissioned in 1941 and
was quite active in WWII.   The ship protected other ships, and also fought off enemy troops.   Following the end
of WW II, the USS North Carolina received 15 battle stars.   Haunting experiences include odd noises, cold spots,
voices heard, televisions/lights operating on their own and many apparitions have been spotted.   SVPS
investigated the battleship on June 5th, 2010.   Results to be posted soon!!

Fort Mifflin, scheduled again in October and November

Fort Mifflin, also known as Mud Island Fort, was commissioned in 1771 and sits on Mud or Deep
Water Island on the Delaware River in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.   During the American
Revolutionary War, the fort was a centerpiece of the British conquest of Philadelphia.   Known
as "The Fort that Saved America", Taps (Ghost Hunters) investigated the fort during season 4.
One of our more interesting and exciting investigations, SVPS came home with many personal
experiences and evidence.   We truly believe this place to be haunted, very haunted.

Now SVPS will investigate this remarkable fort not once but twice within the space of 5 weeks.
Investigations are set for early October and November and we are very eager to test out some
of our newest equipment additons such as the RT-EVP Recorder as well as many new geophones.

Candy Woodruff and Marty Seibel pose with Fort Mifflin caretaker Wayne Irby just inside the fort.   Wayne
was featured on the recent investigation of Fort Mifflin by Taps (Ghosthunters) on the sci-fi channel.
