INVESTIGATION #008
Lizzie Borden House
Fall River, Ma.
Date Of Investigation: October 7, 2007
Time: 7:30pm - 2:30am
Investigators on Scene: Marty Seibel and Lisa Rose
Final Conclusion: Inconclusive
Our investigation of the Borden House yielded no concrete evidence to say it is haunted. We realize that paranormal activity does not appear on cue and we were limited with time
and other factors to do a complete investigation. Evp was difficult to do because of other guests and outside motor traffic which can be heard from within the house. A few minor personal experiences that we could not explain but nothing concrete to support that in the way of video, photographs or audio. I was able to talk with the owner Leigh Ann Wilbur (who was a wonderful host) and some of her staff to share their experiences. Leigh Ann also showed me some video evidence of an earlier investigation conducted by Spooky Southcoast of a video camera being moved up on the attic level of the house. No one was near the camera to move it, yet it moved twice on its own free will. Very remarkable.
After talking with Leigh Ann and her staff, I find their accounts remarkable, genuine and hard to debunk. I believe with the history in the house, the accounts by the staff and owner that the house certainly has the potential to be haunted. We just weren't lucky enough to catch sufficient data upon our stay. I would love to have more time there with complete access to every part of the house to do an complete investigation. From their website, Leigh Ann for a few selected months will make the entire house available to paranormal groups for an overnight investigation. I would highly recommend this to any paranormal group interested. For now the result is inconclusive, more time and data is needed.
